ABOUT THE SEABOARD TEAM

Michael Y. Ahearn,
President
 As President of
Seaboard Weatherproofing and Restoration, a subsidiary
of Ahearn Holtzman, Inc., Michael Ahearn oversees all
facets of project planning, client services, sales,
marketing and operations. A hands-on leader and business
manager, Michael Ahearn has 25+ years of experience in
general construction, specializing in building
restoration/alterations and weatherproofing-related
services.
He has acquired extensive expertise in building
restoration, alterations, and weatherproofing. He
specializes in the assessment and repair of basic water
penetrations and oversees the rehabilitation of
historically significant and landmarked properties.
In addition to serving as President of the Sealant,
Waterproofing and Restoration Institute (SWRI), he is a
member of the International Concrete Repair Institute, a
member and past President of the Westchester Executive
Association and serves as Vice-President of the Building
Restoration Contractors
Association. |
Richard J. Ahearn,
President, Ahearn Holtzman, Inc.
 With extensive experience in
general construction and construction management, Mr.
Ahearn oversees construction of
corporate office interiors, computer installations, and
communications facilities.
His company has provided demanding, detailed work for
Fortune 500 companies, including Pepsico,
Chevron/Texaco, MetLife, Ernst & Young, and
Citicorp. The firm specializes in completing intricate
telecommunications facilities, including web-hosting
sites, network operations centers, and core building
infrastructure upgrades.
He has helped institute Remote Project Monitoring, an
Internet-based service that allows clients to access
updates of schedules and photos from job sites without
leaving their offices. |

Joachim "Jay" Fiebich, General
Manager
As General Manager of Seaboard Weatherproofing & Restoration, "Jay" Fiebich
manages all aspects of business and operations,
including customer service. He oversees detailed
planning and execution of all major building restoration
projects, including specifications, safety, health,
quality control, and rules and regulations. He
specializes in waterproofing and exterior building and
structural concrete restoration.
Prior to joining Seaboard Weatherproofing, he founded
his own waterproofing and restoration contracting
company, which he personally managed for 15 years.
He holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the State School of Engineering, Heilbronn, Germany. |

John S. Ahearn,
Senior Project Manager
 A specialist in
concrete parking structures, "Scott"
Ahearn has installed over
one million square feet of various types of above- and
below-grade waterproofing systems. He has acquired vast
knowledge of elastomeric and resinous coatings. He is
responsible for all Seaboard
service work, which requires a broad range of
expertise.
He is a veteran, serving four years in the U. S.
Navy. |

James F. Gradt,
Senior Project Manager
 James Gradt oversees
projects ranging in size and complexity. With extensive
experience in project management and estimating, he
specializes in completing challenging restorations,
building effective relationships with field
personnel and clients to
expedite all restoration projects, and adapting to the
unique technical and administrative requirements of each
project.
Prior to his position as a Project Manager, he worked
as an estimator, a bricklayer
and stone setter.
He has successfully completed advanced courses in
Construction Estimating at Northern Westchester BOCES
and obtained certification at Cathedral Stone Products
in Hanover, MD for their Jahn Restoration Materials
Application. |

Dan Jones, General
Superintendent
 Dan Jones’ extensive
experience includes high-rise commercial buildings,
parking garages, historical structures, and churches.
His duties include coordination of OSHA safety
requirements and selection of the operations team,
including foremen, craftsmen,
and laborers.
He started his career as an apprentice, learning
waterproofing, caulking, pointing, patching, building
cleaning, brick-laying, stone-setting, and structural
concrete repairs.
He graduated from the International Masonry Institute
and is a certified rigging foreman for all types of
swing stage scaffolds. |
Patrick McEvoy,
Site Superintendent
 Patrick McEvoy
specializes in exterior restoration and façade
maintenance. He coordinates manpower and implements
project strategies for large-scale restoration and
waterproofing projects.
He earned a degree in electrical engineering from
Regional Technical College of Dundalk,
Ireland. |
