MICHAEL AHEARN OF SEABOARD WEATHERPROOFING NAMED PRESIDENT OF SWRI

Port Chester, NY (June 1, 2005) – Michael Y. Ahearn, President of Seaboard Weatherproofing and Restoration, Port Chester, NY has been elected as President of the Sealant, Waterproofing, and Restoration Institute (SWRI), a Kansas City, Missouri-based trade association.

“I’m honored to serve my profession in this capacity,” said Mr. Ahearn. “I’m looking forward to advancing the industry and improving the quality of work by our member firms.”

SWRI is an international trade association that represents some of the most experienced and qualified contractors, manufacturers and design professionals in the commercial sealant, waterproofing, and restoration construction industry. Through educational programs and publications, the organization promotes industry-wide standards of application and products.

Mr. Ahearn has also served the Institute as a member of its Board of Directors. His other professional commitments include service as a member and past President of the Westchester Executive Association and Vice-President of the Building Restoration Contractors Institute. He is also a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute.
