Matthew Ahearn

President, Seaboard Weatherproofing and Restoration Company

Construction Experience:  15 years in commercial general contracting, construction management, and consulting throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast markets. He takes an integrated project delivery approach to mitigate client risk and ensure predictable outcomes to private, institutional, telecommunications, and Fortune 500 corporations. Dedicated to delivering  best-in-class construction and project management services across all business units, he is actively involved in the conception, development, and construction associated with a wide array of interior alterations, telecommunications, building infrastructure, and energy storage projects throughout our operational territory.  Matthew has a background in commercial real estate and is a founding member of Watch Hill Wireless Solutions, Inc.

James F. Gradt

Senior Project Manager & Senior Estimator

James Gradt oversees projects ranging in size and complexity. With extensive experience in project management and estimating, he specializes in completing challenging restorations, building effective relationships with field personnel and clients to expedite all restoration projects, and adapting to the unique technical and administrative requirements of each project.

Prior to his position as a Project Manager, he worked as an estimator, a bricklayer and stone setter.

He has successfully completed advanced courses in Construction Estimating at Northern Westchester BOCES and obtained certification at Cathedral Stone Products in Hanover, MD for their Jahn Restoration Materials Application.

Jack Slowik

Project Manager

Jacek ‘Jack’ Slowik has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including 17 years in exterior building restoration in the metropolitan New York area.

He has been involved in the large-scale 55 Liberty Street project and medium-sized projects at 100 Wall Street, St. Thomas Church, and several branches of a major bank in the Metro NY area.

Jack began his career as a construction worker and worked his way up to waterproofing mechanic, foreman, supervisor, and project manager. He also has extensive and diverse hands-on experience as a building restoration craftsman. Jack is skilled at supervising and motivating other workers and trades to perform quality exterior building restoration projects in a timely and safe manner. Jack relates well with clients and their design professionals, provides excellent customer service, and gets the job done.

Dan Jones

General Superintendent / Site Safety Coordinator

Dan Jones has more than 20 years of construction experience in the New York tristate area. His extensive work includes high-rise commercial buildings, parking garages, historic landmarks, and churches. Dan’s duties include coordination of OSHA safety requirements and selection of the operations team, including foremen, craftsmen, and laborers.

Dan started his career as an apprentice, learning waterproofing, caulking, pointing, patching, building cleaning, brick-laying, stone-setting, and structural concrete repairs.

He graduated from the International Masonry Institute and is a certified rigging foreman for all types of swing stage scaffolds. He is a New York City Department of Building Certified Construction Superintendent and Certified Safety Coordinator.

Adam Samojedny

Project Superintendent

Adam joined the Seaboard team as a foreman in 2008 and currently works as a project superintendent responsible for medium to large-size projects. With more than over 15 years of experience in the building restoration industry, Adam is an expert in restoring limestone, brownstone, granite, and terra cotta building façades. He oversaw the restoration of the Park Avenue Armory and 700 Broadway, both large-scale historic landmark restorations.

Adam is a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsworkers and is a certified rigging foreman with all current scaffold and OSHA certifications. He also has extensive experience in liquid applied roofing systems.

Leonard (Lenny) Lambert

Superintendent

Lenny Lambert’s construction experience includes 13 years of service with Seaboard Weatherproofing and Restoration. His depth of experience includes façade restoration and waterproofing. Leonard is a quality focused superintendent who combines strong leadership skills with an extensive knowledge of multi construction trades. He ensures that standards are consistently met on the job site. Leonard’s list of notable projects include historic buildings, high-rises, and unique building structures across the metro NYC area.

Leonard is a NYC certified Rigging Foremen, and holds certifications in support scaffold use and fire department fire guard.

Raymond Lew

Operations Manager

Raymond Lew brings more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry overseeing all phases of multi-million dollar construction projects for state/city agencies and private sector clients. Raymond specializes in commercial exterior building envelope renovation such as Local Law 11 masonry façade and roof replacement projects. His experience includes managing all types of renovation projects, interior or exterior from a Construction Manager’s perspective and as a General Contractor. Among Raymond’s notable projects for Seaboard Weatherproofing & Restoration is the supervising and coordinating all aspects of a complex façade restoration for the landmarked McGraw Hill Building.

Raymond earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from New York Institute of Technology and an Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology from Suffolk County Community College.

Roicy Pena

Superintendent

Roicy Pena has more than 12 years of service with Seaboard Weatherproofing & Restoration. He is experienced in general construction, waterproofing, bricklaying, and historical renovations throughout metro New York and Westchester. Roicy’s deep field experience gives him a unique perspective on how individual project elements come together for successful completion. He has earned the respect of tradesmen in the field and is appreciated for his clear communication.

Roicy completed the Apprentice and Journeyman Program with the Pointers, Cleaners, and Caulkers Local Union No. 1; holds a rigging foreman card; and earned certifications in DOB 32 Hour Pipe, DOB 32 Hour Swing Stage, and ACI/CRSI Adhesive Anchor Installation.

Matthew Pasqualini

Assistant Estimator/Project Manager

Matthew Pasqualini joined Seaboard in 2017. He has demonstrated the ability to breakdown complex projects/documents to perform estimates and assist in exceeding client expectations to complete projects at the highest quality within budget and schedule. Work experience includes historical restoration of commercial buildings such as the Woolworth building, Lyric Theatre, and the Park Avenue Armory. 

Matthew attended Michigan State University where he competed in Division 1 Wrestling and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.
